I'm back from Jindabyne! That weekend getaway was just what i needed and now i'm actually dreading to clock in work tomorrow :( I need another vacation, stat!

So i brought my parents to the foodgasmic Hurricane's for ribs on a Friday night without reservations, which resulted in us waiting nearly 2hours for a table. Worth it though because we enjoyed every single mouth-watering bite om nom noms. Dammit i'm fat. Number 1 procrastinator for gym/health activities lol.

Wore my heeled boots because it wasn't much of a walk and i wanted to look glamourous on a Friday night HEH :P

There was supposedly a Pyrmont Food and Wine Festival so we thought we'd check it out. We were either too early or there wasn't that much hype around the whole thing so we just left to the city for more shopping. Ended up going to Bondi Junction and spending the entire day there.

Relatives came over that night and cooked a massive dinner that left us all in a food coma. So to compensate for our guilty intake, dad accompanied me to photograph the fireworks that was happening in Darling Harbour. Didn't take that many good shots though cause i was still unfamiliar with my D7000 and still missing a tripod (but i got one already yayyers).

The next day, we had lunch at Cafe Sopra and i switched to the prime but somehow all my shots turned out so badly. Its like my D7000 rejects the prime altogether meh. Shan't break up the whole landscape lens-dslr romance now lol.

Oh dear, wanted to get an early night in but it seems i've dragged on my quality beddy-bye time. Gonna be feeling like a zombie at work tomorrow - staring off into cyberspace waiting for email replies. Ah well, life of a person behind a desk. Nights y'all!
