Parents: week 1.
If you don't already know, my parents are here whoop whoop! They flew in early Saturday morning so i had to force myself out of bed to go greet them at the airport. It's true when they say that the gravity around your bed is ten times stronger in the morning haha. Nevertheless, i couldn't contain my excitement as i haven't seen them for over a year and i was looking forward to not being alone anymore (and the prospects of being able to bug them whenever i wanted now heh).
We didn't do much that day, just chilled at home then went to the market where my mom went a little too crazy with grocery shopping lol (which is never a bad thing. unless you count the weight we're putting on). Had a family dinner with the relatives to sum up our night and then it was off to la-la land for the jet-lagged parents.
Mmnn lobster yee mee is like heaven on a plate.
The next morning we woke up to the heaviest fog ever. It was Mother's Day and i was overjoyed to be spending it with mom since the last time was most probably in my high school days. Sad case though was that most of my plans fell through cause everywhere was fully booked so we just decided to take it as a normal day and go shopping.
And they let me play photographer ;P
Dinner was at Madang (HEHEHE) because i can never have enough and i wanted to bring them over to the dark my side. Already in the midst of planning next year (or the year after)'s Korea trip because i'm that excited LOL. Also cause i'm planning to make it as a mini reunion with them close hometown buds whom i haven't seen for a while. Was talking with the homey and we made it a point to have a vacation-gathering every two years or so. Something to look forward to when we're all busy with the work life.
The weather's starting to get a whole lot colder now, and i'm caught snuggling under three layers of blankets (if you count my blanket-like lounge pants). Will be heading to Jindabyne this weekend to trudge in the snow fields and i have yet to shop for my warm clothing! Good golly where has all the time gone?
