Sydney royal easter show.
Like Perth's Royal Show in late September (i don't even know what occasion its actually for lol), Sydney hosted its annual Royal Easter Show the previous 2weeks. I've always wanted to go but going alone was no fun so i was really happy when Jo agreed to go with me. We got a somewhat early head start and arrived around 10-ish and already there was a crowd building.
Since Jo and i weren't the kinds to get stoked over fun fair rides, we just wandered around. Ah yes you might think, why bother going to a fun fair if you won't sit on the rides? For starters, we tremble at the thought of being thrown into the air so violently (and if you must know, the horrifying ride i sat in Perth has given me the fear of slight turbulences in airplanes up till now) so yeah, we're not paying shit to give ourselves a heart attack lol.
Being noobs when it comes to eating a snow cone lol. I wonder how the Americans do it.
I think one of my favourite parts about carnivals is still looking at the animals. And who knew that there are actually competitions for sheeps, llamas, cows, and pigs! They also had this free craft workshop where they were teaching people how to make tassels but it was already full when we found out about it :(
I got to pat the little pink piggy too! :D
You know what was disappointing though? That there weren't any bunnies or guinea pigs for you to hold. I guess in a way i kept making a comparison to Perth's Royal Show but i mean, there should at least be a couple of bunnies no? After all, it is an Easter Show. Meh.
