Its the free week and no way was i gonna just waste it away. Staying at home got so boring so i decided to do something useful today. Went to the Chinese Garden, this time armed with the dslr, and had tea and dim sum. I sat there for probably an hour, just enjoying the warmth, the view and the breeze. It felt so calming and nice, like there wasn't a care in the world. Sometimes it does feel good going around by yourself :)

While i was eating, this duck came to the area and just walked around, begging for food from other people. It was seriously the most adorable thing i've seen! It would start walking up to their legs and just look up at them. Freaking cute eh!

It even came over to me! Only for a little while though.

It was really hard capturing great shots today cause i constantly felt disappointed :( Only realised after that it was because i was taking them at the wrong time of the day. It was around 1ish so the sun was really high up, making lighting too bright. Best time of the day for pictures are normally early in the morning or towards sunset, advice from real photographers lol.

These lizards were everywhere and when i wanted to take a proper shot of this one, i think it felt provoked and engaged in some position that scared me lol so i backed off :/

With my slightly degraded spirit lol, i just roamed around taking random pictures until i ended up in Darling Harbour. I really love how Australia is very family-oriented. Watching little kids play and have so much fun just brings a smile on my face. Lol i am in no way a pedo fyi. I just really love kids :)

Sensual seduction ;)

Darling Quarter Water Park.

Decided to reward myself with Starbucks because its been forever since i had one. Australia prides themselves on Gloria Jeans and their cafes for coffee so Starbucks aren't exactly everywhere. I'm still loyal to Starbucks though heh. Taking the first sip after so long really felt like heaven. Ah craving for it now!

Did a little retail therapy after that. I nearly wanted to cry though HAHA cause just looking at everything i can't afford was so heartbreaking. Ended up just getting a studded belt and sorta splurged on nail polish :P

Was about to head to the bus stop when i glanced at the park and saw this. Always wanted to take a walk there so what better moment than with my dslr.

Btw please let me know what you guys think about my shots. All the super large ones are taken with the dslr. Really felt disappointed with them so would like to get feedback. Lol and please, no sugar coating kay? Honest opinions :)

much love

x
