Festivities!

Boohoo back to uni today!

Last Saturday, Jo Lyn invited me to visit the Spring Festival in Cronulla along with her friends. The weather was awesome and who was i to pass up meeting new people :) The place was packed with families and locals, and it seemed like we were pretty much the only Asians there haha.

Isabelle wanted her morning coffee fix so we got them at Grind. Apparently, they're the best place for coffee in Cronulla.

The festival wasn't a massive one, just from one end of a long street down to the other end. There were a lot of vintage accessories and i was so tempted to get some. But with my consecutive days of shopping, i didn't want my wallet to grow any thinner heh. I've even used EFTPOS just so i could cheat myself by still having money in my wallet hahaha! But i know that's just gonna bite me in the ass one day.

Basically we just spent our money on food that day. We had Dutch poffertjes..

.. and Turkish gozlemes mmnn!

This flower man so reminds me of the gay sunflower at the Royal Show in Perth last year hahaha.

Since there wasn't much to do at the fair, we went down to the beach to marvel at the view (and look at hot topless guys *cough cough). Haha there was this one guy that waved and started to wiggle at us omg. Very hard not to stare :P

And before we headed home, we stopped for gelato! I haven't had ice-cream in ages so my tummy was screaming in delight :D

And yesterday, we went to Bondi to watch the Festival of the Winds. Mark was hungry so we went around scouting for food places. There were a lot of really good cafes and just smelling them made my mouth water! Haha and that's why we had trouble deciding on a place. After countless of unmade-up minds, we settled on a fish and chips store called Mongers that, later we found out, was in the Good Food Guide mmnn.

It was pretty exciting to see so many kites up in the air. I was wearing ballet flats though because my toenails weren't as maintained as i'd like them to be lol. But it was easy taking them off and the rest of our day was spent trudging through sand, watching kites and getting shivers from the extremely cold wind.

Punya banyak orang!

My viewfinder showed that this picture was really dark so i was so disappointed. But when i got home and saw how nicely it turned out, i was just so happy! Really, really love this picture :)

God has blessed me by hearing me out and bestowing such great friends upon me. I am ever grateful :)

To end our day, we went to Twisted for frozen yoghurt before heading back. Was indeed a long but good day. Cheers to good company and awesome friends :)

P/s Pictures were from Mark's camera and my own.

much love

x
