Roadtrip up north: Lancelin.

Day 3. We had an American breakfast, chilled for a bit before started cleaning up the house, all ready to go.

Lol. The curious case of the sunshine spot. It practically stuck on me in 3 consecutive pictures; on my ear, on my nose, and on my eye.

Random stops along the way.

We were thinking of having a walk to see what there was but after reading the sign, it says the walk to the end was approx 2hrs! I'd come here to workout instead eh. A few weeks and i'd have burned tons of calories lol.
Dandelion! Biggest sign of all ahaha ;)
This was supposed to be Pink Lake (but it wasn't lol. apparently the obvious colour only happens at certain times). There was no entrance there so we had to park at the roadside and walk through mini paths until we reached an opening. And most of the plants were pokey :S

Btw before leaving Geraldton, we had stopped by the information centre and picked up a couple of brochures. I was looking through one and came across a Lavender Farm! I remembered how awesome the Lavender Farm was down south and i suggested we visit this one for lunch. And the place was gorgeous! The waitresses were all so nice and the atmosphere was just great.

Shereen, Mel, and i decided to share our meals so we could order more. We ordered the kid's meal and even that we couldn't finish lol.
We were so full by the time we reached the desserts that we didn't get to touch the lavender scone. Took away that one but we eventually forgot about it lol.

We spent quite a lot of time in the Lavender Farm :D After that, we were sorta rushing to Lancelin and i didn't think we'd be able to make it in time for sandboarding. Pity to have come all the way too. It was 5-ish when we finally arrived and we managed to find a place that were still renting out boards and only closes at 7.30pm. Close call! But omg, sandboarding at that time is freaking cold! The winds were so strong we had to fight it all the way (especially the sand in our eyes).

I was quite scared at first because the boards didn't have a handle unlike the last time i came. Lol luckily the hill wasn't that steep.
Haha all these shots were us fighting the wind. But my models are great, no? :)

We only arrived Perth like close to 10pm. Hell tired after that. I came home, showered, had a quick meal, then went to bed. But the entire roadtrip was indeed an awesome one. Our free week flew by so quickly! We're planning to head to Melbourne and/or Sydney after graduation :DD Gotta enjoy as much now before the working life begins!

much love
