Roadtrip up north: Geraldton.

Day 2. We woke up really early cause we wanted to be in time for the dolphin feeding which was at 7am. But apparently, that was the general feeding and we were only allowed to get up close with the dolphins at around 8am. This was cause the mother dolphins had to feed their kids and if we came close to them, they wouldn't get the chance to. So since we had plenty of time to kill, we decided to have breakfast first.

Blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and fruit salad. This was sooo heavenly! I wish i could have pancakes as breakfast in bed *craving.
Lol sleepy eyes.

Our table had the perfect view of the feeding area. So when we caught a glimpse of dolphin fins, we practically scoffed our food down and ran over there. Lol we wanted to get good spots for pictures (and at the same time, wishing that the dolphins would come our way and we'd get to feed them. so sneaky ey ngeheheh >:]).

Btw, i wasn't using any zoom lens so this was how close they were to us. We were pretty disappointed that we didn't get to feed them cause they only chose families and senior citizens. Amelie was saying how next time when we come back, we should be in crutches so they'd pity us and pick us ahaha!

The guy who helped us take this picture was so funny. He kept going at different angles and taking so many shots. Lol i think he must be enjoying playing with the dslr.

We checked out then headed to the shark feeding at another location. Making one stop on the way to Little Lagoon. We actually saw that place the day before but it was getting pretty dark for pictures. The water was so clear and all i could think of that time was photoshoot (well, majority of my thoughts throughout the whole roadtrip anyway lol). That place was seriously divine!

The shark feeding place also had some other fishes on display. Oh and btw, the guy behind the cash register was actually quite cute ngeheheh ;P We took a quick break there for ice-cream, coffee, and cake to brace the hot weather and the rest of our journey. There probably wasn't gonna be another cafe/diner for another few hours.

Do you know that the lionfish is actually poisonous? Its so pretty with its colours and all but don't touch!

Our next location got us all excited. Shell Beach! The whole beach is actually filled with tiny shells, not sand! That's why it freaking hurts if you take your slippers off (or kneel in it, like i did -_-). It also sorta felt like a desert and i was thinking about 'Sex and the City 2' ahaha. Now that would indeed make a great photo.

a la Gossip Girl mode LOL. This was actually a very painful shot cause the sun was practically burning everyone's eyes! I couldn't open mine at all.
I want more asymmetrical dresses!
Vogue. This woman made me fall in love with my dslr again :)

We stopped at some lookout that was on the way and that place was filled with flies i got too annoyed! I also changed my shirt cause i realized that that dress made me look fatter (cause of its material and flare and all). And yes, i wasn't satisfied with my pictures lol. But yeah, looking back, i think i was actually chubbier then. I've lost quite a bit of that now yay.

That place would also have made another glam photoshoot if it weren't for the darn stupid flies! Lol a lot of the pictures we took there actually had flies on us, if you could spot them :P Oh and funny story about me, Shereen, and Bowie. On the way down, i sort of tripped just as Bowie was telling us to be careful. Then they started laughing and Bowie slipped lol. I was telling Shereen how she was laughing and she'll be next and true enough, she also tripped just as i said it. Hahaha karma bites ey :P

Our accommodation in Geraldton was a house and it was so homey! They literally gave us everything; towels and soap for everyone, barbeque pit, flat screen tv. Better than a hotel i tell you! We could actually fit 10 people in that house, comfortably.

So nice right! The patio was also real comfy. The feeling of chilling out there, barbecuing and eating together. Awesome.

That night was the absolute best! We plugged in our pendrives, blasted music in the living room, and started drinking. We were dancing all over the living room, and Joy was doing burlesque! Omg is she good! We were all pretty much turned on lolol. I tried learning but i am not that flexi dammit.

We tired out eventually, took our showers, and had girly talks in the bedroom until late. I was sharing the same room with Shereen and we continued talking for another hour before going to sleep. Was sharing stories about our bfs eheheh.

That night was really a memorable one because i hardly ever get to spend this kind of time with my girls. Everyone let loose that night and that is what i love. Us without a care in the world :)
