When mumsy was here.
Sent mummy off to the airport last night. It was really nice having her around, even if it were only for 3 days. I might see her again in June which is not too long away. Looking forward to spending more quality family time then :)
She arrived on Sunday morning and as soon as she reached my house, she freshened up a bit and then we were already off to the city haha. Took her to Dragon Palace for dim sum and the queue was zomg long! I think we waited for like 45minutes or so till we got a table. But yeah, that place is always packed on weekends. I think there were actually more people when we were leaving, and that was already around 1ish. We didn't eat much though cause it was just the two of us and somehow our stomachs' capacity shrank lol.

And then we shopped! Took her along Kings Street first and we saw a couple of things we want (but sigh, too expensive). She actually asked me to just buy my Longchamp bag but i felt so bad cause it was so expensive. I'll prolly get it on my own. Shopping was quite dull that day but i got myself a blazer :D I've wanted one in foreveerrr.
Didn't do much on Monday since i had 4 classes (well, considered 3 now since i don't attend one of my tutes anymore. hahaha i explained why to mom and she was cool with it). Went over to Waterford Plaza for lunch and it was heavy! Mom was saying how there was too much rice at first but she finished the whole thing in the end LOL. And i had my sizzling garlic prawns again yumms.

Since i didn't have any classes yesterday, we woke up early and headed down to Carousel. And this time, we shopped like crazy! ;D Bought so much stuff ey, so happy! I really wish she didn't have to go back cause just being with her and shopping makes me feel like we're back home. I love my endless mother-daughter bonding seshs like that.
Btw, my mom bought like 6 handbags on her trip here to Aussie. HAHAHA proves that i'm my mom's daughter. We're both a handbag and shoes type of person. Its fun interchanging bags with her but i can't use her shoes though since her feet are like size 4-5. And yes, we both got handbags yesterday ;) Even with the countless amount of handbags i already have, i still can never get enough. So sue me.

Took a break in Gelare and we had the half-priced waffles.

I actually ordered a mint fudge choc chip ice-cream but they stuffed up my order and gave me the caramel fudge brownie. Didn't bother changing it cause i have yet to try that one but it was blech. Too much chocolate.
For my mom's last night here, i took her to Totos cause my parents just absolutely adore Vietnamese pho. Been sending texts and mms to daddykins to make him jealous teeheehee ;D

Vietnamese prawn and chicken salad.
Sammy was kind enough to send my mom to the airport. But just before he reached, i was playing with Photobooth with my mom. Only way we could actually take pictures together.

HAHAHAHAHA! We were both laughing so much at the way Photobooth's effects made us look retarded.Ah yes, it was splendid having mumsy around. But omg i've been eating way too much since she got here! And she kept wanting to feed me and buy groceries and stuff cause she was paying. Omg 3 days of indulging, so bad! Spent my whole afternoon in the gym today. Need to burn off as much fats as possible! Oh oh and mummy gave me the green light to pierce my belly! If and only if my uncle does it lah, since he's a doctor and all. More trustworthy.
Anyhoos, gotta get back on track with my work now. Haven't really been studying with mom around. Haha too much fun and i'll always end up talking to her about random things. Auditing mid-sem is this Saturday, and Portfolio mid-sem is next Monday. Plus i gotta get my photography assignment done and printed by then too. So can't wait for then. After that its gonna be all about relaxation :)
much love
