Hello down south!

The 'Pasar Malam' event last night was good. Such a great turnout and i saw so many familiar faces that i haven't seen in a really long time. I finally saw J Koh again after like what, 3 months? And Li as well as previous classmates. Plus, there were like tons of cute guys around hahahaha! Ah yes, i love big events in uni cause of that ;)

Haha so i decided to post about my trip down south (cause its rest time from studying). Got that darn assignment to complete, quiz to work out, and a lab test soon. Then its good riddance to the semester and preparations for finals. AND THEN, hello KK! :D

-29.09.2010-

We left Perth past midnight and arrived Albany just in time for sunrise. Gotta hand it to Wu Zhang for driving the whole 4-5hours. Poor him must've been dead beat while the rest of us slept in the RV lol.

It was freaking freezing in the early morning! Especially since we were on high ground. Brrr.

Since it was like super early, we went to Hungry Jacks for breakfast. I know i just wanted to go back in bed ahaha. And since there wasn't much places we could go, we parked near the information centre and slept. Then it was off sight-seeing around Albany.

Desert Mounted Corps Memorial.
Aren't the clouds amazing? I've never seen them like this before. Its even more awesome if you were standing there.
This was when we stopped by somewhere that could see the ocean. This guy was there with binos so we were wondering what he was up to. He told us there were whales and we saw about 2-4 of them! He even lent us his binos, so nice of him.I like this picture! Wu Zhang looks so cute lol and the greens and sky were just right.
even with the sun in my eyes, i'll lie in search of you.

We actually went to this Strawberry Farm that said we could pick strawberries omg but when we got there, we couldn't find any strawberries :( But that place was enough to make you fall in love with it. They had so many pretty flowers everywhere that was literally breathtaking. And being in the countryside, it was so quiet and laid back. Aah, the good life.

It looks like a heart no? So puurrrty!
cause with beauty like this, imperfection will only make it perfect.

Daisies!
These looked like mini hibiscus to me lol.

Next stop, the Wind Farm.

Rainbow :) We each got an ice-cream at this ice-cream truck that was there. The elderly couple who owns it were so nice and wished us all a happy holiday.

And then, it was off to rocky cliffs and seas. We went to this place that could see blowholes but it didn't happen. We could hear the loud sounds though. Guess it wasn't windy enough. The gap and natural bridge were in another location.

Bin your butts haha!

Found a caravan park (forgot the name, we stayed at too many already) and we had a nice bbq dinner. It was funny cause by the time we were cooking and eating, everyone else was off to bed. The ang mohs sleep so early eh, like around 9-10. So us being "young-blooded", that's like wayy to early for us and we can't make any noise cause they complain. Guess that was the only downside each day.

That was day one. We slept pretty early too i think, like around midnight. Also, i realize my pictures have been on medium so they come out pretty small here ey. Shall make them large the next time round.

P/s Happy Birthday mummy dearest! I miss you and i can't wait to see you soons!

much love

x
