And that is why i never like going to the doctor's.

I had the most intense day today. So i've been getting this 'bubble' feeling in my left ear for 2weeks now. You know like how sometimes water gets stuck in your ear? Yeah, that kind of feeling. So i went to the campus clinic to get it checked up. The doctor took a pretty long look in my ear and even asked his colleague to check it out. Apparently there was a metal object deep in my ear canal. Scary shit, i know.

So he referred me to the emergency department of the Royal Perth Hospital since they didn't have the proper tools to get them out. Thank goodness the hospital is near the train station. They attended me pretty fast i should say, but i got stuck inside the ward for quite long while the nurses were figuring out what to do.

Btw, one of the male nurses was laughing at me lol. When he came to check my ear, he started laughing cause he thought it was a screw stuck inside. He even said to his colleague "hahaha check that one's ear out". Then everyone started coming over, even 3 other random doctors. I felt like a freak show -____- Damn embarrassing loh blerh.

The process of getting that metal thing out was not a pleasant one. They tried using a magnet and made me shake my head (and i thought that was pretty funny ahahh). Then they got the ENT tray but apparently it was labeled wrongly. The nasal tray was labeled as the ear one so they used this humongous 90degree thongs and the scope and shoved them both down my ear. You know how painful that was? I resisted so hard not to cry, but i eventually did lah haha. My ear was bleeding and sore cause of that. And it took ages cause they couldn't reach it.

AND THEN, the guy doing that accidentally got jerked and lunged forward and shoved both the thongs and scope deep in my ear FACK. Imagine something that huge and sharp go deep in your ear omg :S

After all that, the male nurse finally went and got the right tray and the ear thongs were so much smaller until i couldn't feel a thing. They got it out and it was an earring, you know like those starter ones when you just get your ears pierced. I have absolutely no idea how or when that managed to get in but yeah. Lol should've taken a pic of the bloody earring but i didn't have my phone on me then.

Kai, being the awesome friend that he is, was with me at both appointments and waited the whole time (like 4hours altogether). I feel bad for making him skip his class but his companion throughout those painful, scary moments meant alot. And, he had gummies waiting for me when i got out :) I was being like a lil kid chomping on them hehe. I don't know how i'd cope without someone there and i'm just so ever grateful that he did.

Btw, my family called one by one to laugh at me -___- Mom lah spread the word. She couldn't stop laughing blerh. The brother even said that i might be hospitalized and miss my flight tomorrow, choi! Thankfully it got settled before i went and i got it out. God knows how long its been there. I seriously didn't feel anything stuck, no pain nothing. I wouldn't have bothered checking too. Still think its shocking lol. Thank God nothing serious happened, like me going deaf or needing operation :/

P/s Thanks for all your concern guys! I was scared so my tweets might have been worrying. But all's good now, no worries. x
