Just witnessed my very first racism act today. Was actually pretty scary :/ Me and my flatmates were at the bus stop after coming back from the city (we went looking around Chinatown today, or Northbridge as its called. so many Asian stuff like karaoke, pool, and what seems to be really popular here, bubble tea lol).

Anyways, so my two friends were talking Chinese then this aboriginal lady walked past them and heard them. So she started shouting "facking people don't know how to talk facking Australian!". Then she kept walking past us and yelling "you're in facking Australia! learn how to talk facking Australian! Go back to your facking country, go home!" and blah blah. Then she shouted "aboriginal!" a couple of times. I was still alright cause i was talking English the whole time with another friend so yeah. Felt bad for them though. Then she deliberately stood in front of them and started smoking.

Then when we got on the bus, my friend had no coins and the bus driver was like "well borrow from someone then, i'm not a bank". Didn't know Australia could get this harsh :( Never encountered something like this in Sydney. Living lifestyle there sounds much much better now lol. Oh and btw, we've all got sunburn now. My cheeks are all pinkish teehee. Who knew the sun was actually that hot!

P/s two more flatmates moved in today yayy! Apparently, they're my other flatmate's friends and guess what, from Malaysia too hahaha. So now the flat is officially filled. Just that the other guy hasn't turn up yet. Saw the list and he's from China i think. Must have gone back for Chinese New Year or something.

Spent our evening at the common room playing pool (and i still suck dammit) and met a guy from Mauritius and another from Paris, France whooo! I love staying at a place where you can meet so many people from all over the world :)
