Cocktail Party, Prom, and Afterparty 2008.

Dammit. I can't sleep. And i only slept for 6hours. Somehow i just felt so uncomfy and when i woke up, it was only 7.30am. I slept only around 4+am today and waking up at 7.30am is seriously not enough sleep. So i plopped back into bed and forced myself to sleep. The next thing i knew when i woke up it was only 10-ish. I was hoping for it to be at least like 12 or 1+ haha.
Ooh last night was super fun i tell you. Wait, let me start from the beginning.
Yesterday, we went to town to do our hair and Shereen's makeup. We were kinda late for our appointment so we had to wait another half hour. Went to take money first cause we were dead broke but the stupid machine wasn't working. I mean wth it's a freaking bank lah, how can you not work? So anyway, we went to Bintang to do Shereen's makeup first in Body Shop. Passed by McDonalds and i was saying that i wanted a McFlurry but will feel guilty of indulging before prom. To which i was overjoyed (but guilty) when Kellie got a chocolate McFlurry for me woots! Oh and we saw Seng Wei, Sotong, and their friends just as we were leaving Bintang.

After Bintang, we went back to Imperial to do our hair at Paul&Jennifer. The lady who did my hair wasn't that good i think cause she kept redoing it. Hope my hair looked fine last night. Gosh, i miss Chris my stylist back in KK. Our hair was only done like 5+pm, and we were supposed to be in Eastwood at 5. Was panicking cause i was holding the guys ticks and they were already there for an hour and i was super late. Sorry Lau and Yi Da, but then again, who ask you guys not to take your own ticks lol.

Kellie and Shereen were helping out with my makeup in the car. It was kinda dark but they managed to do it. I hope my makeup looked fine too. I've never really done makeup myself so i'm a noob in this and needed help lol.
Prom was held in Eastwood. We began with the cocktail party, to which i was late for haha. Apparently, i was supposed to get a ticket from the counter but Joe gave me drinks for free hehe. He made me drink 4glasses of wine one after another. The first one was like probs yea lah, memang cocktail party bah. Joe made me drink the second one again, giving me the excuse "doing it for him since i'm his sis" but then i said i already did. Then Vimel was like next to him and said "oh well do it for me then" and i had nothing else to say haha. Cause i was supposed to deal something with the tickets and i had to look for someone but i didn't know who, Joe made me drink another one saying i can only find that guy after i finished. Then smart me accidently canceled the number so i had to ask for it again but Joe wouldn't give it to me unless i drank another glass of wine. So yea, haha 4glasses of wine before the prom even started. You should have seen how red i'd gotten. I was kinda dizzy abit cause i drank on an empty stomach. Joe was really wasted though and he made me so worried i kept asking people to take care of him. That guy drank too much and was prac falling all over the place. Dang.

Our table was at the far corner and far from the stage so couldn't really get good pictures. Our table seating had a problem at first but it got settled in the end and thankfully, we were all sitting together. Our table consisted of me, Shereen, Ann, Lau, and Yi Da as well as 6 other randoms. There were band performances and singing and all. I spent most of the time outside taking pictures and talking though haha. And unknowingly, this made me miss out on all the food. When i got back i was like fruits? What happened to the lamb and all? And when they said it was all passed and gone i was in a hissyfit haha. I love lamb and it's been ages since i last ate it. There were the prom king and queen nominations and Vicky was one of them. And guess what? She won prom queen woots! Haha they actually had to answer questions like those miss universe type of competitions. One of the mcs kinda got a little too personal tough and i could kinda tell they were uncomfy with answering.

The dance floor was open to band music and i had no idea how to dance. The beat just wasn't right i guess. If it were the type of songs that they were playing when we were eating it would have been much more awesome. We finished around 10-ish and Kellie and Zi Wei came to pick Shereen up.

I headed to the afterparty though with Ann, Lau, Yi Da, and Johnathan. The afterparty was in Armonia which was the club in Eastwood just a short drive away. Ann didn't really join us though cause her friends came to drag her to Balcony haha. So it was just me and the 3guys. We had a table far away in the corner, next to the huge ass speakers that made us partially deaf for the night haha. The dance floor was packed with people all going crazy and it was a blast. We had a free drink first and mine was vodka coke. The guys then ordered Black Label so yea, we drank and partied.

There were lucky draws as well and glory me, i seem to have bad luck in that again. My ticket was 0204 which is special cause it's actually my birthday hehe. So anyway, there were already a few stuff given out then i heard it. "0204!" and i was like oh shit! Cause when they gave me my free drink, they took away my ticket so i couldn't go claim my prize *sob sob* Damn, i'm so unlucky in lucky draws haha. They also had a competition where 4 people had to drink a whole jug of tiger beer with a straw i think and Barry won haha. He kinda puked abit after that though.

The whole night after was spent partying like crazy, staying on the dance floor and all. Lotsa people were high and you could see everyone's wild side come out haha. Some weird stuff happened though that kinda freaked me out alil but i'm hoping it never happens again. I was kinda drinking to distract myself from that "so-called" situation. I was alil bummed by something else too :( And to top it all off, i forgot that i didn't really eat much so yea, i got dizzy again haha.
Haha i saw Ms Angel outside Armonia. We left around 3+ cause i couldn't take it anymore and we went for supper at A1 or something like that. I was like asking the guys that wouldn't we look kinda too formal when i saw the place had most of Curtin students anyway haha. We ate and i drank hot lemon and my head was clear after that. Thanks Lau for sending me home heheh. Zi Wei wasn't sleeping yet though so she sent me off to bed. But then, somehow i couldn't sleep just yet. Felt i had to blog abit, hence the earlier post haha. But overall, the afterparty was a blast. Just sad that some people couldn't enjoy it with us though. Looking forward to great nights like this again =)
