Curtin Carnival 2008.

Today was the Curtin carnival which was held in our uni campus. It started at 10.30am but we only went there around 1+pm. The first thing i did was went to the tattoo booth cause Lau was doing his tatt at that time. He just started when i reached so i got to see the action lol. There was a large crowd gathered around at first but then Joe brought me to the side so i could get a better view. It was kinda scary but Lau was so steady and when the needle first touched his skin, he made it feel like it didn't hurt at all. The sound of the machine was kinda scary too. I didn't get to see the whole process though cause it was kinda stuffy and the girls wanted to walk around.

Saw lots of friends around; bought food and played some throwing game. There wasn't really much to do so we walked to G3 to check out the ghost house. However, Seng Wei said there was a 2page waiting list so we decided to turn back. I was walking in G2 when i heard the lucky draw call out number 1651. It was then that i realised that that number was actually mine! They were already calling twice but i was too far to run and get it. So i was like, oh well. When i reached the LT, people were coming up to me and saying that they were calling my name and i was nowhere to be found. Devan, Seng Wei, and Yi Da even tried calling me but i didn't hear my phone ring. Prob cause it was too noisy. And you know what? The lucky draw prize was a celcom modem worth rm499! I was like OMG and i didn't get it? Yi Da kept reminding me and rubbing it in my face. And to think that i thought my 1314 number was gonna be more lucky than the 1651.

After that, there was this short show featuring body builders where the previous winners of Mr Miri and all went up on stage and flaunt their muscles lol. There were some people going high just by looking at it. Some girls were prac all giggly and screaming and jumping up and down just by watching them. Not my cup of tea though. I don't really fancy too muscular men lol. Anywhos, here are other pics from the carnival as well.

We went back arond 3+pm and after putting our stuff at home, we went to town cause Kellie wanted to eat. After eating, we sent Su Yi home then went to Toys World and Belle's Bookshop. Had a fun time oogling at the stuffed toys. I bought a book and i can't wait to start reading it later. We went to Bintang for a mo after that to buy more stuff. Saw Seng Wei and his gang, surprisingly. I think they went to watch a movie or something like that. It was raining really heavily when we left for home. Dinner was the lasagna and chicken puff that i bought from the carnival. Really made me full for the night.
