The Last Day in Sydney.
Today was actually supposed to be a stay in day. Take a rest from all that going out everyday for the past week. We're heading back to KK tomorrow so going out today probably meant more shopping, in which case our luggage bags would be tons more overweight. So we planned to stay at home and relax, watch tv or so. However, i got a call from my cuzzie yesterday and she asked if i would like to hang out with her and her friends, catch a movie or something.
And so i did. I took the bus to the city alone. Yay me! Haha, independent in a foreign country. She was already there when i got there. Her friends weren't there yet though. So we walked around and guess what? She got me a Country Road bag! I mean that bag is so expensive. It prac cost AUD59.90! I knew it was expensive and i was trying to refuse it cause i think she was using her own money. I felt bad taking something so expensive from her. But she said it was ok since my mom got her a LeSportSac bag. I blindly picked one and i love it. Thanks so much again for that Lozz!
Fresh strawberries for breakfast.
Anyway, we walked back to the cinema and met her friends there. They slowly started to arrive one by one. The cinema was called Imax Theatre and they were planning to watch Batman: The Dark Knight. Tickets were freaking expensive man! AUD14 for one, and that is under student card. I think normal priced tickets cost AUD18? Well, something like that. Drinks were expensive too, like AUD4+ for a large drink. Dayem, highway robbery people! But when i walked into the theatre, oh lordy lord. It was freakass huge! You know how normally if people needs to get into the seat next to you they have to squeeze themselves? Well, the space between each rows are so wide you can just walk straight, normal or whatever. And the seats were so big it felt like a sofa. Those drink holders look like mini tables on the side too. It was prac the size of Growball's new hall 8, but 3 times bigger. And the theatre we were using wasn't the biggest either. Gosh, i can't imagine how big the biggest theatre could be.
The movie was actually kinda scary for me, not to mention draggy too. It's like you keep thinking the movie is gonna end, but then something else happens after that. After the movie we went walking around searching for a place for lunch. They wanted Jap and the place they normally went to was over the lunch period so walked around alot and it was further away. Settled for a Jap place near Darling Harbour, forgot the name of the place though. After eating we went for karaoke and that place is kinda cheap. It was clean and nice and their machines and rooms were of the latest technology, not to mention with the latest songs too. And i only paid AUD2.50. Cheap right? Didn't stay for long though cause Laura had to leave. She walked me to the bus stop and we hugged and said our final goodbyes.
Chicken chop with rice, Jap style.
me&Lozz. One last picture.
And did you know i nearly missed my stop home? Haha, well i was waiting for the landmark to ring the bell but i don't remember seeing it then i saw the bus stop which i was supposed to get off and quickly pressed the bell. Luckily the bus driver stopped, bless him. Otherwise i would have to walk all the way from the next bus stop, which is pretty far btw.
Did some more packing and waited fo Erica to drop by. Evan, Aunt Shirley, Veron, Erica, and myself then headed nearby for dinner. Settled for an Indon place since the rest of the restaurants were packed with people. I wasn't that hungry cause i already had a large pack of nachos while packing. So i just ate a bakar chicken, which was very burnt btw. Erica didn't follow us back home cause she was going to sleep over at her friend's place. She's such a nice person, can't wait to see her again.
A very, very burnt chicken which i didn't finish heheh. And now i'm continuing packing, trying to get everything to fit in my luggage. Leaving alot of things behind though and my bag's still heavy. Dang, oh well, back to work!
